In his March 28th newscast, Lester Holt signaled that the media narrative on Representative Nunes is about to change.
The most under reported story of the recent months is that the Donald Trump’s civil rights have been violated.
Americans still have Fourth Amendment protections regardless of whom they work for. US Intelligence had no authority to conduct surveillance on the Trump Transition team; they are US citizens, and their phone conversations are private. Even if they are on the phone with Russian agents, absent a FISA warrant, US Intelligence cannot transcribe their communications, or reveal their identities. But according to Devin Nunes, that’s exactly what happened
Up until now, the media narrative was, that there is no evidence that such surveillance ever occurred.
But last night, on NBC Nightly News, Lester Holt signaled that there is a change in the wind. He said “[Nunes met] …with a source whom he claims showed him Intelligence that US spy agencies may have accidentally swept up communications from the Trump Transition team.”
Nunes never said that the collection of data on the Trump transition team was an “accident.” In fact, what happened appears to be quite intentional. Trump transition team members were unmasked, and information was compiled. That’s more than just a computer glitch.
It’s a sure sign that the media narrative is about to change. Which also means, that the media is now aware that the surveillance of Trump operatives wasn’t just some tin foil conspiracy.
Look for next for someone to take the fall, and claim he accidentally delivered all the accidental surveillance to the White House.
Spot on Tim!
