It’s a story that keeps getting weirder by the day. It isn’t enough that the guy had to be taken to court by his parents to evict him from their house, he’s now become a nuisance on the public.
According to Fox News:
A 30-year-old man who made headlines last week after he was ordered by a judge to vacate his parents’ New York home has officially left the residence, but not before calling the police on his father regarding some missing Legos.
As a comedian, I’m really not in a position to call anyone irresponsible. In fact, I’ve been irresponsible longer than this kid has been alive. I also know a few adults who are still Lego hobbyists.
But seriously. Does this guy even recognize that the world is laughing at him? You’re always much better off losing your Legos and walking away with your dignity. I know that some pieces are extremely hard to find, and that it’s nearly impossible to complete Jabba the Hutt’s Sail Barge without them. But when you’ve already lost as much as this kid did, you should always endeavor to walk away with a modicum of your dignity.
Kudos to the police who responded to his call for containing their laughter.
